Bob Beames Award

Bob Beames was the first Treasurer of OSSTF District 12 and before that spent many years on the Executive of Former District 16, Scarborough.  He passed away suddenly on April 29, 2005.  Bob took great pleasure from the role he played in helping to select the District 12 submission for the provincial Marion Drysdale Award.  Each year student submissions are received at the Union Office.  These submissions are carefully crafted works by students taught by our members.  The Executive selects from aonth these submissions the final entry for the Provincial Marion Drysdale Award.  The creator of the submission selected for entry at the provincial level is the recipient of the Bob Beames Award.
